So yesterday I posted about my hatred of the meal plan but fessed up to my major disorganisation and slightly expanding waistline. this week I’m biting the bullet and trying to attempt to take control of my eating. So this week I’m grabbing the bull by the horns and attempting a week of a family friendly, easy slimming world menu plan.
I don’t go to Slimming World meeting but I have previously lost weight by using this method also, it’s the only way I can think of that will allow myself and the other half to eat the same food. he’s a big eater so hopefully I can have him on board from the start.
I mentioned in yesterday’s post that James does all the cooking in this house and as a professional Chef he didn’t look too amused when I told him I was taking over but I know I need to do this.
So, meal planning is not what I anticipated writing on this website but loads of you messaged me after yesterday’s post – Thank you SO much. Without further a do. This is what we will be eating this week.
I shopped at Aldi.
I needed all the ingredients for this week’s meals plus additional cat food, shampoo, conditioner, nappies, tea & coffee. I stockpiled fruit and veg for snacks, some additional items for the littlest one and plenty of cooked breakfast staples for James. James has a cooked breakfast most days and I don’t mean full English but in general, he will eat eggs of some variety. I knew he could still do that while following a bit of Slimming World so I stocked up on things he liked to tempt him to stick with it.
Total Spend £50.03p
I have the above image printed out and on the fridge ready to go – Wish me luck. I’ll report back next week, either with a week 2 – or ‘I can’t meal plan to save my life’ post.
